This document summarizes an undergraduate final year project presentation for the design of a multipurpose CNC machine. It introduces the student team presenting the project and their supervisors. It describes the problem statement around the high cost and limited availability of 3D printers and multipurpose CNC machines in Pakistan. The proposed solution is to design a multipurpose CNC machine that can function as a 3D printer as well as perform laser engraving, cutting, and drilling to reduce costs. A flow diagram is presented, and applications are discussed around using the machine to make replacement parts, manufacture small scale items, and perform wood engraving and milling.

3. Problem Statement
 In Pakistan 3D printing technology is quite expensive
 The concept of Multipurpose CNC machine is rare
 In Pakistan Multipurpose CNC machines are not
widely use because of high cost and less availability.

4. Proposed Solution
 We will introduce Multipurpose CNC machine in Pakistan
,to guide students we will also create basic documentation
 To reduce the cost of 3D printer ,we will create a
multipurpose CNC machine which is not only a 3D printer
but also a lesser engraver, lesser cutter and drill engraving
 To reduce cost of 3D printer we upgrade it into
Multipurpose 3D printer ,this 3D printer then produce parts
which will be use to make other modules of multipurpose
CNC machine
 An other way to reduce the cost is that we will produce on
large scale

6. Applications
• Replacement parts in case of emergency can be made
with the help of 3D printer
• Manufacturing of small scale items can be done with
the help of 3D printer as it will not required extra
machines
• Milling will be quite useful for wood work as this
machine will do engraving
