The document profiles 4 potential audience members for a music magazine: Georgia, Annabel, Jack, and Emily. They are all 16-25 years old, students or employed earning over £4/hour, and enjoy indie rock music as well as activities like concerts, reading, and listening to music. They would be a good target audience as they can afford the magazine, enjoy the genre of music it features, and have interests aligned with the magazine's content and format.

6. Evaluation
My target audience is 16-25 year olds. The percentage of women who answered my audience research questionnaire before I
produced my magazine was higher than the percentage of men. Because of this I created 3 female audience profiles on females
and one male because the answers to that survey were biased in females’ favour.
The reasons that these people fit my target audience are:
1. They all like the genre of indie rock music. This means they would be drawn to my magazine over others because mine
specifically features indie bands and content based on indie bands.
2. They all are employed and earn over £4 an hour. This means that they are able to afford my magazine because their hourly
wages are all nearly double the price of my magazine. This would appeal to them because it is not overly priced and not
thought of as an investment they would regret.
3. They all like to read and buy magazines. Because they like to read, this means that a magazine would appeal to them and also
they like music so they would be even more attracted to a music magazine.
4. The language of my magazine is suited to them. They would find the information easy to process because if the formality and
simplistic layouts. Because the majority of them read, this means that the language couldn’t be too simple but I kept it
marginally easy for those who are less fluent in reading. The length of my magazine would also appeal to them because it is
60 pages long which doesn’t make it too long as their attention needs to be kept- I found this out by looking into their
hobbies and they all like to do things that require minimal focus. For example, Emily likes to go to the cinema. This shows that
she likes things that are easy for her to get a thrill from, so anything that requires her to search for information isn’t going to
appeal as much.
