Mayla is a 19 year old girl living in the heart of Norwich. She is employed at
Starbucks and earns good money, however does not spend money regularly on
music magazines, and if she does it is less than £2. Her favourite music magazine is
NME, as this is the magazine that contains the most new music, and includes
interesting articles and pieces. It is colourful and always has good models on the
cover, which is important to Mayla. Mayla likes to read about upcoming acts that
she can impress her friends with, especially articles and reviews about unsigned
artists in her local area so that she can go and see them with her mum. She and her
mum often go to gigs and festivals together, but would like to know more about the
whole festival scene in general. She listens to a lot of pop and indie music, however
rock and reggae music often take her fancy too when she is flicking through
YouTube.
