Father:
Born in 1960 in Manila, he studied civil engineering and worked as a contractor. Married in 1985 and had two children. Known for his hard work and dedication to his family.
Mother:
Born in 1965 in Cebu, she studied business administration. Met my father in the 1980s and married in 1985. Managed the household and raised two children while being actively involved in her church community. Known for her kindness and faith.
11. VISHWANATHAN ANAND
Vishwanathan Anand was born on December 11, 1969, in Tamil
Nadu. He is an Indian chess player who won the undisputed title of
World Chess Champion from 2007-2013. He learnt to play chess from
his mother at the age of 6. He became the first Asian at the age of 17 to
win the world chess title at the FIDE World Junior Championship in the
year 1987. He has published his collection of games under the title
‘Vishy Anand: My Best Games of Chess.’ Anand is fond of listening to
music, swimming and reading. He is married to Aruna Anand and has a
son. He is fondly referred to as Vishy, or the ‘Tiger of Madras’ and was
awarded the Padma Shri at a young age of 18 years. Besides that, he
has also bagged the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna, Padma Vibhushan,

18. Vicente Y. Soto
Senator Vicente Soto was born in Cebu City on April 18, 1877 to
Marcelino Soto and Pascuala Yap. He finished his secondary education
at the Colegio de San Carlos in Cebu City. He obtained the degree of
Bachelor of Laws and Judicial Science and passed the bar examinations
in 1907.In 1902, Senator Soto entered politics when he ran for the
municipal councillorship of Cebu and won. In 1907, he was elected
mayor despite his absence during the election owing to his involvement
in a court battle caused by a kidnapping suit lodge against him by his
opponent, and was forced to stay in Hongkong. Alter seven years in the
Crown Colony, Senator Soto decided to return to the country in 1914.In
1922, he was elected representative of the second district of Cebu until
1925. On November 1946, he ran for Senator and won and served as
