2. Titles and film name
• For the titles of the teaser trailer and the main title we used
the same type writer style font. This helped add fluency to the
trailer and keep the branding between all products as the
typewriter style was used in all creations.
We later discovered when we tried
to use the same font from
Dafont.com in our teaser trailer that
we couldn’t use that font in final cut
pro so we decided on a typewriter
font that was as close as possible to
our already existing font, to keep
consistancy.
3. Costume
The costume we decided for our main character is a kind of ‘alternative’ Style following
both mainstream and kooky styles.
We decided on a a costume like this because of the characters story and his ‘outsider’
grouping. The same style of clothing is adopted in the magazine and poster but because
the magazine and poster reveal a later version of the main character trying to fit in the
costume is slightly different.
4. Colour Scheme
The colours used in our magazine and poster are relatively similar, with the
exception of the red used in the magazine, however that was only used to fit the
conventions of a empire magazine. We have tried to keep the colour scheme
very minimal and only used grey tones.
5. Character
We have been consistent with using me for the main character in the poster,
magazine cover and trailer and therefore the branding of our film Is stronger.
6. Slogan
The slogan we as a group chose was “all I ever wanted was to fit in” which became
a branding for our film and was used on both the magazine cover and poster to give
more information about the film. The Slogan was also used as a repeating voiceover
in the teaser trailer.
7. • Overall I think the branding of our film is very
strong.
