2. Preliminary task
What is the preliminary task :
Used to get used to the cameras
Mini test before starting real filming
Be aware of all the editing programmes
Have a slight image of how it will be when filming
Start to get glances of how to work with each button
zoom in , zoom out
long shot, mid shot, close-up shot, etc
Where to place the tripod to get the image/shot we want
3. Successful example
Good ideas such as
Level 3 the zooming of the
angry face.
I would give this
a level 3 as I
thought it was
satisfactory due
to:
Wide range of
shots closeup
shots, mid shots
Light was
appropriate and
very clear to see
4. Poor example
Level : 1
I would give this level
as the basic points that
they were expected to
cover they did not.
Such as :
Editing not very successful
Light very dark as the cuts were not
which makes continuous. Goes from
facial expression one image to another
not as clear. completely different.
Image shaking quite
a lot should of used
a tripod at this point
5. Targets for poor example
Use a tripod when needed
Make sure the setting has enough light
Make facial expressions clearer
Use a wider range of shots
Pay attention to editing
Make each shot continuous so it has a flow
6. What have I learnt?
From other preliminary tasks i learnt although it is not
the real opening sequence we cannot take it as a joke
Use wide range of shots
Pay attention to facial expressions
Plan the exact place where filming and if it is
appropriate (lighting)
Be very careful with the editing (make sure it has a
flow)
