Introduction
This lesson plan will help students to write
creatively and know about the writing process
and how to beautify their writing along with
the developing vocabulary and grammar
skills. In this particular lesson plan the
students will write/ discuss about their
favorite animals.
Learning objectives
• By the end of this lesson, students will be able :
• Define creative writing
• Describe types of creative writing
• Plan a creative piece of writing for the publication process
• To enable students to discuss a certain topic in a group and present
the compiled point of view to the audience.

Background Information
• Enlist student background knowledge about the writing process by
using the following questions.
• Do you like writing?
• Have you ever write any story? If yes then…
• What was the topic and what kind of the story that?
• Do you know the main components of writing process?
Introduction
• The students will be told that today they are going to be learning
about a writing process.
• By the announcement of the topic the teacher will guide the
students and tell them about the main key points to make the
creative writing interesting, complete from start to end.
Main components of
creative writing process
There are six main steps
of writing process,
Topic announcement
• After explaining the different steps of writing process,
announce the topic about which creative writing will be done.
• Students today write some creative stories, or opinions about
animals by following the writing process.
• Before do some creative writing need to know about the
animals and its categories
Animals
•Animals—can be divided into six groups.
Ranging from the humblest (invertebrates) to the
difficult (mammals).
Invertebrates
•The first animals invertebrates are
characterized by their lack of backbones and
internal skeletons.
Invertebrates
Fish
The first true
vertebrates on earth,
and have dominated
the world's oceans,
lakes, and rivers ever
since.
There are three main types of fish:
bony fish (which
includes such familiar
species as tuna and
salmon
cartilaginous fish (which
includes sharks, rays,
and skates);
jawless fish (a small family
made up entirely of hagfish
and lampreys).
Amphibians
• Amphibians are small vertebrates that need water, or a moist
environment, to survive, in which include frogs, toads,
salamanders, and newts. All can breathe and absorb water
through their very thin skin.

Reptiles
•Reptiles, like amphibians, make up a fairly small
proportion of terrestrial animals. There are four basic
types of reptiles: crocodiles and alligators, turtles,
snakes, and lizards.

Birds
• Birds evolved from dinosaurs—not once, but probably multiple
times— duck, parrots, sparrows, falcon, ostrich etc. all are
including in birds.

• Mammals are characterized by their hair or fur.

Group Activity
• Duration 15 mints
• Material note book paper( 3 papers for each group)
• iPad to take help from internet
• Group presentation time 2 mints to each group.
Group activity time
•After giving the information about the animals and its
categories. It a time to conduct an activity in the class.
•For this purpose
•First of all, make maximum six and minimum three
groups of the class.
•Then give one category to each group.
•After that ask them to write up to 100 words about
the given category according to the creative writing
process.
•By the end of the activity the supervisor will ask the
groups for the presentation ( give a speech) about
their category.
• During this activity the supervisor will help the groups and
look after them and make sure that they are following the
instructions carefully and doing writing according to the
directions.
• Then, supervisor will call all groups for presentation one by
one and ask them to present their category.
Individual activity
•Material
Notebook paper. 2 paper for each student
iPad
Duration 15 mints
Activity 2
• This activity will be the individual activity.
• For this activity, teacher will take the previous knowledge of the
students regarding pet animals by asking few questions like…
• Do you like pets? If yes
• Then what kind f the pet is this?
• Is it mammal or bird or fish..?
• After taking the previous knowledge the supervisor will ask the
students to write a short essay about their favorite pet.
• Make sure the essay should be according the steps of creative writing
process.
• In this activity teacher will allow the students to take help from
internet.
• By the end of the activity teacher will ask the students to exchange
their paper with their fellows to check it out is it according to the
creative witting process or not?
• After that teacher will randomly call any student for the presentation
by using snow ball methodology.
• In snow ball methodology the teacher and the rest of the class will be
judges and will write done the story mistakes on the paper.
• After two or three story presentations the teacher will discuss the
mistakes to the calass and to the presenters as well and also ask them
how to correct the and make the story error free.
Wrap up
• After the group and individual activity the teacher will wrap up the
lesson by asking the few questions to make sure the students learning
about the creative writing process.
• Questions should be like
• What is creative writing?
• How many steps of creative witting process?

  • 2. Introduction This lesson plan will help students to write creatively and know about the writing process and how to beautify their writing along with the developing vocabulary and grammar skills. In this particular lesson plan the students will write/ discuss about their favorite animals.
  • 3. Learning objectives • By the end of this lesson, students will be able : • Define creative writing • Describe types of creative writing • Plan a creative piece of writing for the publication process • To enable students to discuss a certain topic in a group and present the compiled point of view to the audience.
  • 4. Key Vocabulary • Character growth • Plot growth • Bright setting • Underlying theme • Point of view • Dialogue • Anecdotes • Metaphors and similes • Figures of speech • Imaginative language • Emotional appeal • Heavy description
  • 5. Background Information • Enlist student background knowledge about the writing process by using the following questions. • Do you like writing? • Have you ever write any story? If yes then… • What was the topic and what kind of the story that? • Do you know the main components of writing process?
  • 6. Introduction • The students will be told that today they are going to be learning about a writing process. • By the announcement of the topic the teacher will guide the students and tell them about the main key points to make the creative writing interesting, complete from start to end.
  • 7. Main components of creative writing process There are six main steps of writing process,

Topic announcement • After explaining the different steps of writing process, announce the topic about which creative writing will be done. • Students today write some creative stories, or opinions about animals by following the writing process. • Before do some creative writing need to know about the animals and its categories
  • 9. Animals •Animals—can be divided into six groups. Ranging from the humblest (invertebrates) to the difficult (mammals).

  • 11. Invertebrates •The first animals invertebrates are characterized by their lack of backbones and internal skeletons.
  • 13. Fish The first true vertebrates on earth, and have dominated the world's oceans, lakes, and rivers ever since.
  • 14. There are three main types of fish: bony fish (which includes such familiar species as tuna and salmon cartilaginous fish (which includes sharks, rays, and skates); jawless fish (a small family made up entirely of hagfish and lampreys).
  • 15. Amphibians • Amphibians are small vertebrates that need water, or a moist environment, to survive, in which include frogs, toads, salamanders, and newts. All can breathe and absorb water through their very thin skin. Frogs Toads Salamanders

  • 19. Group Activity • Duration 15 mints • Material note book paper( 3 papers for each group) • iPad to take help from internet • Group presentation time 2 mints to each group.
  • 20. Group activity time •After giving the information about the animals and its categories. It a time to conduct an activity in the class. •For this purpose •First of all, make maximum six and minimum three groups of the class.
  • 21. •Then give one category to each group. •After that ask them to write up to 100 words about the given category according to the creative writing process. •By the end of the activity the supervisor will ask the groups for the presentation ( give a speech) about their category.
  • 22. • During this activity the supervisor will help the groups and look after them and make sure that they are following the instructions carefully and doing writing according to the directions. • Then, supervisor will call all groups for presentation one by one and ask them to present their category.
  • 23. Individual activity •Material Notebook paper. 2 paper for each student iPad Duration 15 mints
  • 24. Activity 2 • This activity will be the individual activity. • For this activity, teacher will take the previous knowledge of the students regarding pet animals by asking few questions like… • Do you like pets? If yes • Then what kind f the pet is this? • Is it mammal or bird or fish..?
  • 25. • After taking the previous knowledge the supervisor will ask the students to write a short essay about their favorite pet. • Make sure the essay should be according the steps of creative writing process. • In this activity teacher will allow the students to take help from internet. • By the end of the activity teacher will ask the students to exchange their paper with their fellows to check it out is it according to the creative witting process or not?
  • 26. • After that teacher will randomly call any student for the presentation by using snow ball methodology. • In snow ball methodology the teacher and the rest of the class will be judges and will write done the story mistakes on the paper. • After two or three story presentations the teacher will discuss the mistakes to the calass and to the presenters as well and also ask them how to correct the and make the story error free.
  • 27. Wrap up • After the group and individual activity the teacher will wrap up the lesson by asking the few questions to make sure the students learning about the creative writing process. • Questions should be like • What is creative writing? • How many steps of creative witting process?
