9. Characters Chosen For Film/Movie:
I have chosen Josh Beale, Dom Finn and Charlie Shackleford to use for my film/movie.
These three characters are ideal for the characters I want to convey in my film because of
their personalities.
Dom Finn fits the role as one of the teenage characters because he is
enthusiastic and more importantly gets scared easily. This will make his
reactions to what is happening more realistic. This follows the simple horror
convention regarding groups of teenager which is that there is always one
group member who is scared and nervous at anything. Finally he gets along
with both Josh and Charlie meaning that he can act as if they were actually
spending time together as a group to once again make the performance more
convincing.

These three characters are ideal for the characters I want to convey in my film because of
their personalities.
Josh Beale is very well suited to the role of being a teenager within my movie
because he is confident yet relaxed, this means he wont feel to pressurised
when we are filming. And he is in front of the camera He also gets on with
both Charlie and Dom which is beneficial as it makes it seem more realistic
especially as the stories idea is based around a group of friends. Finally, Josh
follows the conventions of horror characters as within any group there is
always the muscly, sportsman, this shows him off as a masculine figure and
therefore a potential protagonist.

I have chosen Josh Beale, Dom Finn and Charlie Shackleford to use for my film/movie.
These three characters are ideal for the characters I want to convey in my film because of
their personalities.
Charlie Shackleford is a perfect choice for my horror film/movie because he
can enjoy the time in front of the camera with his friends. Additionally, his
anger issues will benefit his character as he will be unpredictable within the
movie leading to the audience questioning his next move. Finally, we see that
Charlie is following yet another common horror stereotype, this is because he
is slightly unstable and within horror groups (especially teenagers) there is
always one who is a loose cannon. This is beneficial as it means that anything
could happen to him due to his own destructive nature.
