• Outer presence: The impression they create (their appearance): Short
character with small features and unorthodox clothing. Brown short hair.
• Inner presence: Their attitude (personality, temperament): Doesn’t get
scared easily and is very stubborn, thinks they are always right and courageous
in the face of danger. The leader of his group as he always decides what to do
and when.
• Context: The world they inhabit (where and how they live): Small Bungalow
with his mum (single parent) and doesn’t go out much apart from to watch
football. Lives near dangerous area very close to a renowned drug riddled
park.
• Suitability of the role: Bryn Fray is suitable to play the role of because he is
an aggressive character and a leader

3. Josh Beale (Creature/Demon)
• Outer presence: The impression they create (their appearance): Black morph suit
for creature, simple as creature is not seen clearly throughout the intro, Demon
Josh in normal clothing e.g. jeans, t shirt and trainers with white out contact lenses
in.
• Inner presence: Their attitude (personality, temperament): Dark, mysterious and
quiet, the creature/ demon doesn’t speak and therefore not much personality is
conveyed across to the audience other than fear.
• Context: The world they inhabit (where and how they live): It lives in the woods,
it hunts and prays on those it crosses and tricks and terrifies people into becoming
weaker targets. Mainly comes out at night.
• Suitability of the role: Josh’s suitability to the role is prime as he is tall and slender,
this gives him a more menacing advantage and allows him to provoke more fear
from the audience, additionally he can run on all fours in an un-natural manner.

4. Eleanor Richmond-Knight (Eleanor)
• Outer presence: The impression they create (their appearance): Short roughly 5’3
long curly hair down to mid back. Tends to wear skirts and thin tops.
• Inner presence: Their attitude (personality, temperament): Kind and caring, quiet
but chatty after consuming alcohol, enjoys dance and music so festivals are ideal.
Liked by everyone as she doesn’t tend to argue or speak out of turn.
• Context: The world they inhabit (where and how they live): Lives in a large
country house in Bradfield with a large open field and wooded area as a back
garden. Lives with siblings, an older sister and 2 brothers, one older and the other
younger. Lives a relatively stress free life.
• Suitability of the role: Her suitability to the role is ideal as she is potentially timid
unless everyone is socialising, her likeness to the character will aid her
performance and make it more realistic plus she has long curly hair very similar to
that of the character in question.

5. Sophie Bishop
• Outer presence: The impression they create (their appearance): Short roughly 5’2
with very long dark brown hair, petite figure and small face.
• Inner presence: Their attitude (personality, temperament): Very confident and
stubborn, she does as she pleases but in a quiet reserved manner and doesn’t care
what people think about her. She enjoys staying fit and takes part in dance on a
regular basis.
• Context: The world they inhabit (where and how they live): Live in a small
secluded house in a village called Theale with her mum and dad. Lives a relatively
calm and quiet life and spends time with her friends dancing and shopping.
• Suitability of the role: Sophie’s suitability to the role is ideal as she comes across
as a confident person herself allowing her to convey her character more
convincingly, additionally she is able to chat and be friendly with others ideal for
finding an actor to mix with others actors in the same position.

6. Amelia Hodgetts
• Outer presence: The impression they create (their appearance): A tall character
thus far, roughly 5’6 and flaming red hair. Large blue/green eyes and an athletic
build.
• Inner presence: Their attitude (personality, temperament): They are confident
however follow the crowd to fit in as they wish t be accepted. Uses sport as an
avenue to popularity and allows her to make friends quickly.
• Context: The world they inhabit (where and how they live): They live in a small
village called Tilehurst with an older sister and both parents and their pet dog. As
similar with other characters they have a very simple background and have a
relatively relaxed approach to their life. They play netball during the week and also
attend school sixth form.
• Suitability of the role: Amelia is suited to play this character as she has the same
hair as described and also takes part in sport, she is friendly and up for any
challenge and therefore will suit the role perfectly.

7. Mary Tingle
• Outer presence: The impression they create (their appearance): Tall 5’7
short brown hair and green eyes.
• Inner presence: Their attitude (personality, temperament): Extremely
confident person, enjoys taking part in any situation and sticks up for her
friends. Always smiling and takes a lot to get them angry.
• Context: The world they inhabit (where and how they live): She lives with
both parents and her older sister and takes part in lots of work at school
such as dance and drama. They enjoy singing and having fun with lots of
different types of people.
• Suitability of the role: Mary is suitable for the role as she enjoys
socialising with any type of person and has a strong enthusiasm for taking
part in any activity.

8. Alex Butler (Alex)
Outer presence: The impression they create (their appearance): Short, black
hair, slightly out of scale head and slender figure.
Inner presence: Their attitude (personality, temperament): Fearful character
who gets frightened easily and scared quickly. Mildly aggressive in the face of
danger. Overall calm, cool and collective.
Context: The world they inhabit (where and how they live): Lives in a small
village, active healthy and goes to the gym, enjoys food and TV e.g. game of
thrones, modern family, empire, friends and Malcolm in the middle. He is a
fan of animals e.g. Dogs and Penguins.
Suitability of the role: Alex Butler will play Dennis because Dennis’ character
is terrified of the dark and gets terrified easily.

9. Dom Finn

This character is tall roughly 6’0 and has blonde hair.
• Inner presence: Their attitude (personality, temperament): This
character is playful and jokes around a lot, he gets scared easily and
doesn't deal with stress very well.
• Context: The world they inhabit (where and how they live): This
character lives with his younger brother and sister and both
parents, they play rugby and take part in sport outside of school to
stay fit.
• Suitability of the role: This character is suitable to the role as Dom
himself gets scared easily and therefore can enjoy the role. Also he
gets along well with girls and is very charismatic.

10. Megan Wasley

Tall, roughly 6’1 with ginger hair and a small, petite build.
• Inner presence: Their attitude (personality, temperament): They
are quiet and don’t talk much to people outside of there social
bubble. They enjoy taking part in dance and fitness classes.
• Context: The world they inhabit (where and how they live): They
live with there parents and stay in doors most of the time, they
practice dance at home and are quiet and shy.
• Suitability of the role: Megan is suitable for the role as she is a tall
and quiet character who can develop within the film, additionally
she likes spending time with her friends who are also acting as part
of the movie or and/or film.

11. Ursula Toon

They are tall, roughly 6’0 with long blonde hair and an athletic
build.
• Inner presence: Their attitude (personality, temperament): They
are pleasant to everybody and don’t talk about people behind their
backs. They are very chatty and laugh all the time once they have
had a drink.
• Context: The world they inhabit (where and how they live): The
character lives with both their parents and enjoys staying in and
watching TV.
• Suitability of the role: Ursula is suited to this role as she is generally
quiet however enjoys socialising with other when drunk.
