Complexion: Pale
Build (height/ weight): 5'10, 65kg narrow
shoulders
Hair colour/ Style: Gray Hair
Style of Dress: Smart e.g. suit or jeans and a
shirt, brace, cane.
Striking and most memorable physical
trait/ feature: left leg is injured from an
injury which he got back when he was a
kid
Characteristics/ mannerisms: Cockney
accent, geezer mannerisms
Speaking Habits: cockney slang and a
tendency to stutter due to confidence
issues he’s had since he was young
Behaviour/ actions: Stan is an aggressive
person ever since his wife passed and
because of this, he doesn't speak to
anyone in his neighbourhood. His
aggression is aimed mainly at the main
protagonists in the trailer, this is because
he is jealous of them and envy's the fact
that they are a simple and happy family.
Due to his leg being damaged since he was
young, hes always had to use a cane
currently as he is getting old and so he
spends most of his time sitting around and
Back Story: Stan lived in the house next to
the main characters for 50 years. He had a
wife called Dawn who tragically died 10
years ago due to unknown causes. He was a
happy and cheerful man who was loved by
all of the people in the cul-de-sack
however, once his wife died, he started to
become distant and started to hate his
house and the neighbourhood as a whole as
it brought up to many fond memories
Character Name: Stan
Character Role: Portrayed as the main
protagonist
Age: 80
Gender: Male
Race: White
Characters flaws: Throughout the
trailer, Stan is seen to have quite a
few flaws which help in setting Stan
as a character. Before his wife's
death, he was cheerful, outgoing and
confident however, ever since she
pasted away, he became distrusting,
holds grudges, unapologetic and has
a hint of jealousy.
what makes the character
unique?: Hes so unique to
this story as he is the only
one in the area who's lived
there for longer than 20
years due to other families
moving and leaving the
cul-de-sack.
External Conflicts: Stan is always
judged by everyone in the
neighbourhood and he had
accepted that until the main
characters arrive and show no
sign of hostility or fear. This didn't
phase Stan one bit and he still
decides to be aggressive and this
leads to future events explained in
the trailer.
Interactions with other characters: With the main characters,
he is very distant and keeps an aggressive and cold tone every
time they encounter each other. Stan is cold and distant with
all of the main characters however, when he first encounters
the children, he takes a more aggressive and sinister manner
with them due to reasons explored in the trailer.
2. Internal conflicts: The loss of his
wife left him with a lot of internal
doubt and sadness and has made it
so he is incapable of being
sympathetic and welcoming to his
neighbours. Stan acts like he is an
independent person however,
secretly all he wants is have
someone to speak to but is in denial
and only thinks his late wife was the
only person who could fill that need
and as such he has become
heartless and cold.
