1. Original Love Island Website My Website Practice Task
When doing this practice task, I have learnt how to use new tools. I tried to pick a similar text to what was used on the original website, as well
as trying to find a similar background image; this is what made my work look original. Things I need to consider and remember when making my
own website are: using a font that will fit my genre of TV drama, using colours and elements that will appeal to my target audience, but also fit
the genre, I need to also make mine interactive by including social media link tabs, which help reach out to more people and increase my
audience numbers.
I tried to create the exact same curved/indented
shape as the original website. Knowing how to
use the tools, I will be able to make shapes like
this to improve the look of my website.
The overall look of my website does look similar by
using the same colours and thumbnails as the
original. I also found PNG images, such as the Love
Island logo, ITV logo and the Uber Eats logo.
I have learnt that when recreating a website, that
spacing is important, as it helps it look more
accurate to the original. As shown, spacing made
mine look slightly different. However, it is hard
when the proportions are different on differing
website creators.
