Directing, supporting and mentoring up to 80 personnel (including external contractors), engaged in
delivering project management services within the mining and LNG sectors
Developing scopes of projects and continually monitoring every stage including: milestones, resources
(physical and human resources), progress claims and reporting, contractor variations and offsets,
delivery, quality control and risk management
Negotiating and finalising contractual agreements and supplier contracts for projects in compliance with
industry/quality standards and commissioning protocols up to $200 million (Clients include: Queensland
Nitrates, Enermech and Sun Engineering)
Processing and controlling all project documentation, and compiling project reports including: budgets,
job cost reports, sub-contractor progress claims and variations, and insurances; and submitting to the
client for their review and approval
Conducting regular site inspections with clients to discuss and negotiating any variations; and ensuring
compliance with specifications, industry standards, quality assurance procedures and time objectives
Preparing tender documentation in readiness for submission and sending out to contractors for pricing;
and developing and executing site specific Environment, Quality and Safety, and Project Plans

PROJECTS:
Queensland Nitrates Pty Ltd - RCM based project on the reliability of the plant equipment.
ENERMECH - GLNG, QCLNG and APLNG Projects - Curtis Island: supplied cost-effective chemical,
hydraulic and nitrogen services to Bechtel Australia during LNG plant commissioning valued at $200M.
Championed promoting open communications with trades/contractors and immediately followed-up on
issues during negotiations on Bargaining Agreement. Successfully completed nitrogen leak testing for 6 x
LNG Tanks on 3 different projects within the strict timeframe.
ENERMECH – QCLNG Project, Curtis Island: delivered chemical, hydraulic, and nitrogen services for
Bechtel during commissioning of the QCLNG plant – accountable for $70 million budget and up to 80
personnel (including external contractors). Spearheaded expanding the project budget from $5 million to
$70 million at project close-out through effective client coordination, job scoping and change notices
ensuring regular and accurate communication. Commended as a top performing onsite contractor due to
positive client relations and relationship building with project stakeholders.
SUN ENGINEERING – Wiggins Island Coal Terminal, Gladstone: constructed 5.6km curved overland
conveyor in a marsh environment and successfully resolved several engineering design issues.
Completed a dump station railway track and structure designed to handle 7,600 tonnes of coal per hour
– resulting in handing over for commissioning to Queensland Rail prior to the set schedule date.
Completed construction and lifted 1,200 tonnes onto the conveyor module within 3 days and the
overland conveyor into the storage bins.

PROJECTS:
Well Pad Group on the GLNG Project, Roma (Project Value: $150 million): supplied labour, tools and
equipment to install consumable materials; testing devices, piping and cabling; and pre-commissioning
the upstream project including: 313 x wells, 174 x well pads and the Roma Underground Gas System.
Achieved successful outcomes in resolving delays due to the late release of land access in the Roma area
by adapting the project plan and splitting the workforce into different work groups to ensure completion
by set dates. Rectified pad preparation errors efficiently within the original scope of works resulting in
no additional cost to the client and reconstructed access roads to allow heavy construction equipment.
Fortescue Metals Group - Port Hedland WA (Project Value: $50 million): oversaw the new 18 month
project and won a rail welding contract. Trained, inducted, and mobilised equipment and staff (ie. up 20
personnel including external contractors to the site within 14 days. Commissioned the rail welding
fabrication facility for the client.

Fluor Rail Service – Karratha, WA - achieved better welding quality by improving the rail welding flush
butt welding machine; implemented a testing facility for the rail track to identify weld impurities and
quality control; and investigated and tested a new method to weld the last string of rail, resulting in
reducing track downtime and improving wear rates on the rail track.
