Construction of the Additional Reservoirs at Mesaimeer RPS

Scope of Works:
- New Pump House and Control Room Building along with all necessary Civil,
Mechanical, Electrical, Fire protection and Instrumentation works.
- 4 new pre-stressed Mega water reservoirs, each 9 million gallon total
capacity including all necessary works.
- Construction of approximately 2.4 km of new 1200 mm distillate transmission
pipelines and associated works, chambers, Valves, from interconnection
point of existing distillate lines and up to inside of the new station.
- Construction of approximately 11.8 km of new 600 mm and 11.4 km of 900
mm, rising mains (pipelines) and associated works, chambers, Valves from
inside the new water station and up to interconnection points to existing
and future pipelines.
- Construction of new automated tanker filling station (TFS) of 18 filling points.
- GTC299/ 2009 VO # 1 – Construction of the four Additional pre-stressed
circular Reservoirs and the associated pipelines at Mesaimeer RPS.

05) Project Involved : Kattankudy Divisional Hospital Project at Batticaloa.

Scope of Works:
- This hospital consists of 150 Beds, 07 wards including Medical, Surgical, Pre and
Postnatal, Maternity wards & Pediatric ward and It has 24 hours functioning
Accident & Emergency Treatment unit with Trauma Care Centre and Mental
Health Unit
- Including design and construction of Nurses Quarters, Doctor Quarters and
Minor staff quarters.
