Creation of the GS EP GEO 402
GIS (Geographic Information System) is a geographic data management
system, more and more used as an aid tool for decision making during the
development and operation activities.
GIS is now used during the project execution as a transverse geographic
database and a support tool for the engineering and operations
phases(See next slides).
This new GS provides requirements to be addressed to CONTRACTOR,
dealing with:
GIS data to be delivered during Project execution, in line with the Project
Documentation GS EP PJC 702 “Requirements for electronic documents at project
execution and field operations phases”.
GIS data to be provided as part of the Final Documentation, in line with the GS EP
PJC 703 « Contractor FINAL DOCUMENTATION requirements”.
