• General updated necessary to follow the technology improvements, and the standards
evolution.
• Some parts redundant or contradictory with GS EP TEL 410, 414 and 700.
Nature of changes:
• Updated the data rates up to n x STM-1, STM-4 or more.
• Revised the listed norms and standards, and updated the superseded and cancelled ones.
• Revised the Design Conditions, and included the possibility to have auto-tracking
stabilized antennas for offshore links
• Revised the Technical Requirements, and simplified the duplicated requirements
• Revised the Technical Documents , and simplified the duplicated requirements
• Revised the Glossary
