2. Process
• The majority of the week was spent
doing my experiments and my initial
reactions to this task, I created some nice
experiments and used my mind maps to
influence and help me make my decision
of what sort of game I wanted to make.
My first experiment was an experiment
with the cycles, having used a running
cycle in the Irn-Bru advergame, I
experimented with a throwing cycle.
• To improve I could experiment more with
the cycles to make them look more
professional and look less choppy
3. Process
• The start of this week I started to
research the other games in the
genre, thought of what I wanted
to do and did the proposal as well
as planned what I wanted to do
for my final game, implementing
elements from 2D games as well
as 3D ones.
• To improve this stage I could've
definitely looked at some more
examples, but I couldn't think of
many more I could've.
4. Process
• This week was the start of my
production, I started with my
character. I created the character
and created layers for both a
running and a jumping cycle. I
also made a log to move along
the screen for the character to
jump over and an eagle which
should be ducked under, but for
time (and to bring my game to a
natural close) I didn't include this
in this animation of game.
5. Process
• At the start of this week I
slapped a background
behind the stick men and
began to animate
everything. I made the
character go through the
cycles, made the
background move along
with obsticles coming
towards you, coins to
collect
6. Process
This week was spent
evaluating my work
and my working
process, uploading
everything to my blog
and ensuring
everything was done
and ready to be
marked.
