• You must have access to a digital camera at
home.( not a phone camera)
What is Photography?

• Photography is the process of forming stable
or permanent visible images directly or
indirectly by the action.
• Photography is one of the most important
tools in scientific and technical fields. It
extends the range of vision, allowing records
to be made of things or events.

of what you understand about what a DSLR or
DSL camera is.
• You can present you summary with a title and
drawings from the sheet.
Homework task
• Research you need to find out what a point and shoot
camera is.
• In your sketchbook present some writing and images
about what a point and shoot camera is
• Compare and contrast this to the DSLR and SLR
cameras – you may need to do some more research on
these cameras.
• Your homework can be written in book or presented
on computer and printed out and stuck in book.
• Homework needs to be written in diary and on
homework schedule in sketchbook.
