1. UV -VIS SPECTRUM ANALYSIS:
The uv-vis optical transmission spectra of monovalent
metal ion doped and divalent metal ion doped ADP crytsal is
shown in figure and figure respectively. It is clear from the figure
that the percentage of optical transmission increases with the
increase of wavelength.
It is clear from the figure that around 300nm about 80%
of light is absorbed .Around 350nm to 600nm about 40% of light is
absorbed. We can see that the wavelength of nearly 600nm to
1100nm nearly 90% of light is transmitted . Beyond this range it is
abserved that again the percentage of transmission is decreased .
Almost similar results have been obtained as mentioned in [23].
2. By taking this into account ,it is mainly used in the
optical application where thete should be higher transmittance of
IR rays and also circumstances where we want to cut off the
visible light.
