2. What are ads?
■ Ads are marketing techniques in which creators have the ability to spread their
platform into a successful social media site or other media platform in order to spread
awareness.
■ This can then help the business spread out to a wider audience and spread awareness
efficiently.
■ Ads can then help announce new products and programs and then create more
revenue for further business opportunities and sales
3. One way in which I can intrigue audience members is by
incorporating ads into social media platforms –
Instagram
■ For example, Instagram has a feature in which you are able to pay and the app will
add your post which may include promotion to peoples feed, preferably your target
audience, and this will then create more awareness for my artist as their song may
com up in someone's feed and they may enjoy it and show their friends which can
then have the ability to create mass awareness as fans may help promote my artists
music to their friends, this is an effective way to promote my artists music as it Is
simple and affordable.
■ Instagram also makes these ads easily accessible as you can see her in this picture,
fans have the ability to visit my website through one click, this then makes fans more
likely to click onto his website as it is simple and doesn’t require time.
■ Instagram is also a good tool for artists to promote their projects as it is a major
platform for artists and their presence on the app is vital for the success of the app,
this then creates more opportunity for less famous artists as their promotions can
appeal highly to their target audience.
■ Instagram is driven by hashtags, and they are a great way to connect with niche
audiences, by including them into my posts, I am able to gain more attention.

■ Facebook is also a platform in which creators have the ability to promote their work to
a mass audience, It is more beneficial as these creators have the ability to promote
their work to a selected target audience. For example, an artist is able to promote
their work to other musicians and fans. A massive number of Facebook users use the
application in order to promote their work; with over 2 million daily users, creators are
able to promote.
■ Facebook also helps create a brand for your project as you are able to click a theme or
certain job tat your project is based around.
5. Google Ads
■ Google is also another platform in which I can promote my content, they have a
feature in which you can pay for certain google searches related for your artist to
be at the first page of google, so members of my target audience would be most
likely to click on my platform as it provides credibility in being on the first page of
google, this can then help promote my work to a mass audience,
■ Another way I could use google ads is by creating pop ups on websites related to
my my project, For example, on a website related to rap, I could pay for a pop up
ad to feature promotion of my artist and work for a price.
6. Snapchat ads
■ Snapchat has a number of advertising options, however, they are fairly expensive as
they are long and are easy to engage with.While users of the app are scrolling through
stories, the advertisement will pop up in full screen and users the have the ability to
learn more.They are often sorted through region and often age demographic in order
to suit your specific target audience.
■ Another way in which you can use snapchat to promote your business or project is
through sponsored lens. For a price, creators are able to create eye catching lenses as
they are fun and engaging to audiences and a popular feature of snapchat.These
lenses then include further information about the project. For artists they can also add
snippets of their music.This is effective as fans who enjoy the snippet will listen to the
full song and thus create more revenue for the artist.
