2. INSPIRATION
The original music video for ‘ATM’ has helped me massively when
filming my music video as I’ve implemented ideas from it, while
incorporating my own twist to the video. I felt the video should be
modernized for todays youth and add items/concept to get them
intrigued, so the norms and typical rap genre video. Studying the
work of various movie video directors, I decided to add a monologue
to the opening of the video to portray the artist as broke and
uninspiring, then as he puts on his headphones he envisions his
dream lifestyle.
3. CONCEPT
For the photoshoot, I will have my artist in full designer clothing with
expensive chains and watches to portray his wealth to the audience, I
will also have him carrying large sums of money in an show off way,
and throwing it up to display that it means nothing to him. The shots
will be mid-shots and full body.
4. CHARACTERS
For the the models. I will be using the artist of the song and have him
wearing different outfits of luxury status to display the artists wealth,
multiple photos will be taken in different locations for the ATM
digipack and website
5. EQUIPMENT AND LIGHTING
I will be taking my photos with the canon 5d, and using a stabilizer to
ensure my shots are stable and point out certain details. Lighting will
also be a key feature in photography as I’d like to make the artists
watch and chains shine to display that they are real, natural lighting
will also be used to sustain with my theme of the daylight and
timings of the music video shot. I will also be using a three point
lighting in order to ensure great quality of the photos.
