3. Research
Overall my product research helped me layout my magazine in a more
professional and common style .It also helped me to display the right kind of
theme and font style to contrast with images on the cover and inside of the
book.
There were very little weaknesses of product research I did. However from
being inspired by other magazines I had to be careful of been copyright struck
and also exactly copying.
4. Planning
• The strengths of my planning were that it really helped me display my
ideas efficiently especially from producing a mood board and spider
diagrams which helped me put down lots of images that would spark my
mind to create my magazine.
• The weakness of my planning were that I possibly didn’t go into enough
detail with my mind maps. I could of displayed more ideas about football
and other topics relating to it.
5. Time Management
• Overall I feel I did not manage to fill my potential with the time I gave
myself to finish my magazine. If I had more time on my double page
spread I would of added more detail and more information. I also would of
spent less time on my front cover but due to file corruption it held me
back and meant that I had to spend more time on it.
6. Technical Qualities
• The similarities with my final product and the existing product were that they are about up to date
football.
• The existing product is more of an article and contains a lot more information on one particular
player and contains less sub headings than my final product .
• My product also contains a lot more pictures and factual information
• Where as the existing product is more about the individual players career.
7. Aesthetic Qualities
Overall I feel did the best I could in the time I was
left with to make my double page spread.
However I don’t it believe it looks as good as what
I wanted to, this was due to file corruption which
held back my potential. However I am pleased
with the creativity.
8. Audience Appeal
Overall I think my product appealed to my target
audience which was set at age 6 or above . I do
believe that I tried to make the written style as
readable as possible for the younger audience.
However I do think I struggled to make content that
was more aimed at a younger audience because
most football news is not made for younger people
to understand it.Therefore in future I will make
more stories for different age groups.

page it appears to be to blank.

• Overall I would say I agree with the feedback given I feel it
was fair and honest from the people who reviewed it .

• I would say I disagree with the fact that I could of displayed more
facts and statistics as my magazine was more about the news and
latest transfers. I also did not have enough time to make any.
14. Peer Feedback Summary
– If I could of made any changes to my product based on my peer feedback I
would of added more added a lot more statistics and facts that related to the
topics I discussed . I would also of added more news stories on both pages to
make it look less blank. My time management should have been arranged
differently because I was not satisfied with my front cover or double page
spread. Overall if my time management was on point my product would not of
suffered. Therefore this will be something I take a learning curve on how to
structure my time .
