I have been in the food service industry for ten years of my life now, both restaurant and retail work,
while working towards my bachelor's degree. Upon receiving my bachelor's degree in history I moved
on to graduate school. I briefly worked as a research assistant for one of my professors at the
University of Bowling Green. There I helped Prof. Michael Brooks complete research on chapters in a
book he was writing on Latin American history during the 1950s through the 1980s.
