Introduction
There is no doubt that every one of us has passed
through difficulties and problems in his life, but has
helped to avoid these problems or solve them and
simplify our lives the sensors
There are hundreds of sensors around us to help us in
our daily life so what are sensors
A sensor is a device that detects and responds to some
type of input from the physical environment.
Evading motion detection
What object can the sensor detect ?
We passed three different objects with different
temperatures in front of the motion detector to see if it
detects temperate as it detects any motion
DetectObject

YesHot water
NoCard board
The range of detection is a cone shape
 distance approximately 30 feet
It detect infrared radiation move slowly can't detect
Taking a tour of some sensors
To know different stimuli and responses
We were given different toys and each had 3 minutes
to discover what id the stimuli and response of the
object was responsestimuliobject

Each smart sensor has a different response
Depend on it’s purpose
Making microphone
To notice the different between the flexible and rigid film.
We were given –balloon –cup -alligator clips -amplifier/speaker
PVDF to build a microphone and attach to it a
rigid PVDF&flexible PVDF
and discover using which gives the loudest sound
TESTS FLEXIBLE FILM RIGID FILM
FLICK Free film  
Attached to
substrate
 
SCRATCH Free film  
Attached to
substrate
 
BLOW Free film  
Attached to
substrate
 
TALK Free film  
 The flexible film was heard
more clearly than the rigid film
Both films respond better to
scratching , flicking and blowing
than taking
We were able to hear (talk)
when both PDF were connected to
the substrate ;when we talk the
balloon increases the vibration
which also increases the voltage
and causes sound
Exploring the piezo effect
A) buildingthe PVDFmonomer
we were to explore how PVDF is formed from
individual atoms and small molecules atoms with the
}{C2H2F2use of molecular model kits
B) Buildingthe PVDFpolymer
Build a polymer PVDF model with the use of
molecular model kits using the monomers build in
repeating {C2F2H2}
Exploring the piezo effect
C) Seeing the structure at work
Determine how the PVDF reacts when bending
Pending in one
direction produce
Positive voltage
and bending on the
other direction
produce negative
voltage
 the faster the
pending the larger
the potential
Measuring piezoelectric or
pyroelectric responses
5a) Measuring piezoelectric responses
We fixed height different masses As the mass increase
the voltage increase
because the pressure
applied to the PVDF is
higher
SmallMediumLargeWeight
0.0600.721.36Voltage
5cm10cmHeight
0.390.81Voltage
We fixed the mass and different heights
The grater the drop
height , the greater the
pressure which result
in high voltage
Without substrateWith substrate
Positivevoltage usuallyNegative voltage usually
Using substrate give a
high voltage than free
film because the
substrate will cause more
vibration
Measuring piezoelectric or
pyroelectric responses
5b) Measuring pyroelectric responses
We notice how the heat can cause voltage
This video is activity 5 in detail

Then we draw a graph
from our result
We tried to find out a
mass of an unknown coin
from it's voltage and it
worked3.15mass=Predicted coin -00.14
We used piezoelectricity of PVDF
to design a coin counter ,by
dropping different coins with
different masses an realized that
every mass gives a different
voltage
Final Project:
(Title: imogliysation sensor)
Final Project: pressure sensor on the bed is linked to
number and registered in computers which nurses
have by an application , in the case if the patient
decide to get up ,which is not allowed for him to move
from the bed, the pressure on the sensor will decrease
and once the sensor detect this motion ,warning device
will produce a sound with the bed number on the
nurses computer
Final Project:
(Title: imogliysation sensor )
In the medical wards some times some patients need to be
restrained those patient how have valence tendency or this
irritation ,We want to be sure that they are safe and they
will not hurt any one so we restrict them and that’s From
the sociological legally allowed but that may be harm the
patient and effect his Psychology and also this may upsets his
relatives
Our aim of doing this project to reduce number of hours spent on
watching the patient and risks of being the nurse busy also to keep
the Psychology side of the patient positive and also keeping the
patient and people around him safe
imogliysation sensor
Hypothesis
The device will detect the motion and give a response to alarm the
nurse that this patient with this bed number did move from its place
and he isn't allowed to move this will safe nurse time and the patient is
safe more especially if he is need to be restrained and that will effect
his
Psychology
Methods and Materials
imogliysation sensor
The method that we used to perform our project idea
was the detection of the pressure sensor and the
connection between sensor and the computer and
the application
The martial was :
1-pressure sensor
2-computer
3- bed
imogliysation sensor
Results
This project can be used in hospital it have a lot of benefits for example
it will safe nurse's time .according to our study and from our point of
view we did solve a problem and it did replace the idea of restriction the
patient
imogliysation sensor
Recommendations
Our recommendation or advice that to apply this
project in all Qatar hospital because of its benefits
and advantages
We want to advice more people to investigate to
improve the product and research in this topic maybe
they think in different way
We faced obstacles in our experiments which is to
know if this project already exists in Qatar hospital and
if there is sensor can endure the mass of the body and
our advice to over come this problems just to research
in every place and believe in your idea
Conclusions
finally we learn a lot of things in AL-Bairaq
We now know how to use the snap shat , instgram and all the
other community website
Also we did learn about the sensors and the PVDF
how to search for information
How to take high quality photos
