3. Introduction
– What are composites?
A composite material is made by combining two or more
materials – often ones that have very different properties.
The two materials work together to give the composite
unique properties. However, within the composite you can
easily tell the different materials apart as they do not
dissolve or blend into each other.

Crack Alert
– Introduction
The project idea came from the increase of accidents because of cracks in
roads
One way to prevent it is by our project which consists of composite materials
Aim of the work
In this project we aim to make the roads safer and decrease accidents due to
cracks and to make people feel safer than before especially driving at night.
Also decrees the damage to cars.

6. Crack Alert
Hypothesis
– The idea suggest adding two layers below street concrete;
which are
– First layer is polymer capsule that contain luminous material
inside it that will glow at night
– Second layer is a layer of flexible rubber that will make
concrete resist the crack more

10. Conclusions
Our experience was unique with Al-Biaraq, we performed
experiments and learned a lot about the composite
materials and its benefits to the environment .
We were able to apply what we learnt in a design project that
will more people be interesting in rods and cars.
