isn’t eye catching then the audience will not
what to watch the film as it will not appeal to
them.
Our film does have title and this is important
but our title is a drawback to our film. This is
because our title ‘A Smith’s Wood Film’ isn’t
eye catching and we could improve on
making a new title so that it is eye catching
and the audience will want to watch our film.

4. Action
Action is important for the start of a film.
This is because the start of the film
must be eye catching to the audience.
It shows that the film isn’t boring and
there will be action throughout.
Our film presents action and that it is in
the action genre. This will appeal to
audiences that enjoy action based
films.

5. Empathetic Music
Empathetic music is a big part of the first 2
minutes of a film as it can build up tension
and the mood of the film, and can also give
you an idea what the film is like.
We haven't yet put music on our film. This is a
drawback to our film because it doesn’t build
up the tension and the audience will not be
attracted to watch the rest of the film.

6. Main Characters
Showing the main characters at the start of the
film is important because it introduces them.
Showing the main characters shows the
audience who is going to be in the film, if
someone well-known is in the film this could
make it more popular with audiences.
Our film shows all the main characters that are
going to be in the film, this is one of the
strongest points about our film.

7. Special Effects
Special effects is important when
showing the first part of a film. this is
because if a film has special effects it
means that the film will be exciting to
watch as it has more edited.
Our film has been edited, we could do
more to put more special effects on
there so that audiences will want to
watch the film.
