2. Overview Of Our Film
Three boys get kidnapped and are put in the middle of
a forest, where they must escape and grab the
treasure. They find out that they are on a TV show and
that people are betting money on who will win by
escaping first. They find a map, which will help them
escape and find the treasure. One of the characters
(James), tries to turn the other two characters onto
each other so that James could find the treasure
himself.
3. Our Idea
• The aspect of our film that we are going to
emphasize in our marketing products are the
characters.
• We will include all three characters across all of
our products (Poster, Teaser Trailer and Magazine
Cover), as this will create a brand for our film.
• We will also use a iconic logo for our film, this will
be placed on all of our products to identify the
brand easily.
4. Teaser Trailer
• Our idea for our teaser trailer is to use voice
over during a small part of the teaser trailer to
allow the audience to understand what the
film is about, without giving away the main
plot. We will also put our logo of our film on
the teaser trailer, so that people would
automatically know what film it is. We will use
three main characters that will feature in the
teaser trailer.
5. Poster
• For our poster we will use the same logo/title
of our film that was used in the teaser trailer,
as this creates a brand across all our types of
products.
• We will use iconic colours that will also be
used on our other products, but these colours
will be typical colours that are associated with
Action and Adventure films.
6. Magazine
• Our magazine cover will follow the same colour
theme as the poster but will look a little different
to the poster, so that it catches the audiences
attention but will be easy to identify as the same
film.
• We will use the same logo of our film that was
used on our poster and teaser trailer on our
magazine.
• We will also use the same three characters but
will position them in a different way to the poster.
7. Target Auidence
• We are looking at the target market for The
Hunger Games as this film is similar to ours.
• Their target market is 15-24 year olds, with
55% men and 44% women.
• We are attracting young people who are into
Action & Adventure films, but are the kind of
person who is into the outdoors and survival.
