3. Masthead
On a double page spread the masthead is the title for the article, for example in
Kerrang issue number 1639 the double page spread is about Twenty One Pilots
and the title is a quote “MY NAME’S BLURRYFACE AND THIS IS THE… LYRICS
ISSUE!” this is due to Kerrang having occasional issues known as ‘Lyrics Issue’. The
masthead covers the shoulder of one of the musicians.
4. Main Image
There is a large main image that covers one page and partially covers the second
page, both musicians in the image are looking at the camera as a form of direct
address. In the image shown the shot of choice is a two shot because it shows two
musicians from Twenty One Pilots.
5. Drop Cap
A Drop Cap is a large capital letter that is used to show the start of an article, it is
only seen at the start of an article and nowhere else except for the start of some
paragraphs.
