2. Logo
The channel logo is always present on professional print adverts to inform
the audience the channel that the program will be shown on, it also helps
the audience recognise a familiar channel that they may have seen
before.
3. Main Image
The print advert only uses one main image in
order to attract audience attention by making
them focus on one area rather than multiple
images. In most print adverts the main image
relates to the topic of the documentary or show.
4. Title
The title is clearly shown on the advert and
represents the largest text on the advert.
The colour of the title and text usually
represents the colour choice of the image.
5. Slogan
The slogan usually relates to the main
topic of the documentary yet does not
give the audience much information about
what the documentary is about. The
nature of the slogan is usually a rhetorical
question which is aimed to gain the
audience's attention and create enigma
codes.
6. Date and Time
The date and time is shown on
the advert in order to inform the
audience of the time and place
that the documentary will be aired
to the public. It is usually placed
below the title of the documentary
and shares the same text colour.
