– When the audience believes something straight away that
they have been told by the media.

– When a new game trailer comes out, after
watching the trailer, you are intrigued to buy and
play the game. One example for this (battlefield
1). When I first watched the trailer I straight away
wanted to play the game.
7. Uses and Gratifications Personal
Identity
• After researching more information about the
game such as the release date and that price
of the game, I applied for the games beta with
my email which is a demo unrealised version
of the game.
8. Uses and Gratifications Integration and
Social Interaction
• After game was realised many of my friends
kept informing me which level they was on,
this gave me a sense of competition to get to a
higher level then them and do it before they
could. Doing this made the game a lot more
exciting to play. After completing all the level
we could then play against each other on
multiplayer communicating through our
headsets.
9. Uses and Gratifications Entertainment
• All in all I really enjoyed playing the game, this
is because the graphics In the game made it
look realistic to play and the flow of animation

smoothly without any jumps or stops in the
game, making the over all experience
impressive and thrilling.
