Evaluation for my music magazine.

1. Q6. What have you learnt about technologies
from the process of construction this product?

2. Blogger

3. • This is where we kept all of our work
online, which allowed us to access it
anywhere.
• I had never used Blogger before so all of it
was new to me.
• The most important skill I learnt was
embedding files.

4. SlideShare

5. • SlideShare was one way I embed files onto
my blog.
• This allowed me to put PDFs and Microsoft
office documents on his blog.

6. In Design

7. • In Design allowed me to make my
double page spread organised how I
wanted it and give me the layout I
wanted.

8. PhotoShop

9. • At the start of this year I had never used
PhotoShop and I now feel quite
comfortable making a design.
• Everything I used was a new skill to me,
but I feel I picked it up fairly quickly.

10. Prezi

11. • Prezi allowed me to easily continue work
from college at home, as I do not have
Microsoft office at home.
• I also learnt how to embed a Prezi into my
blog and to embed a YouTube video into a
Prezi.

12. Gmail (email)

13. • I learnt how to email my documents to
myself so that I could continue my work
anywhere on any computer.

14. YouTube (Capture app iPhone)

15. • I learnt how to upload videos to YouTube.
• I also used the youtube capture app on
iPhone which meant I learnt how to edit
videos together.

17. • Emaze was very similar to Prezi as it
allowed me to make Powerpoint online
with a better design.

19. • Office was not new to me at all, however
I had not used excel for a long time so I
had to re-learn how to use it.

20. Apple Office Applications

21. • To put apple documents on my blog I had
to convert them into a PDF which was new
to me.
• I just had to learn where the tools where
compared to office.

22. Overall…
• I learnt many new skills on top of my base
skills. Mainly the more creative skills were
completely new to me.
