2. BlogsBlogger is something I hadn’t
used before and at first did not
understand how to use and
became difficult as we couldn’t
always get internet access to it
from our school. However in the
process of planning and going
back to evaluate our ideas and
thoughts it was a really useful
tool as we could display all
different forms of media on to
one site. Seeing the work on
screen and being able to
montage images and text helped
us build up an image and style as
to how our film was starting to
develop.
The use of blogger also mean's
we could communicate idea’s
better amongst the group
3. Digital camera
As our opening uses still and
moving image we worked with
film cameras and slrs. The
most challenging was to work
with the filming camera as we
had trouble with making sure
the zooming was correct and
not to fast and shooting at
night there was no mode or
flash that allowed us to do
this, however as we
foundoutthat we would not
get much detail at night with
the camera we worked with a
torch adding in the light. This
we found actually gave more
of an urban, surreal effect as
we could control which areas
we wanted to highlight.
4. Editing equipment/ adobe
• In the process of designing our
indent I used adobe Photoshop
which I had downloaded as a
free trial
• Working with Photoshop mean's
that I could be really selective
and experimental with how I felt
things should look, nothing was
out of reach
Working
with the
levels of
exposure
and tone
Working with shadow
and highlights
5. Knowledge gained from working with
software
• Such programmes such as adobe
premier and Photoshop I have
learn’t a lot more about and become
more fluent in.
• Reflecting on what I have learn’t I
feel that the next project I work on
will be to a much higher standard
and I will be able to construct much
more complicated yet effective
effects and edits
