What have you learnt about
technologies from the process of
constructing this product?
Laptop
My home laptop was very useful in working on my coursework
from home. I am able to work on documents which are formatted
on word, PowerPoint or generally writing on my blog. I can not
work on my documents that are on InDesign due to the fact I do
not own the InDesign software. Tweaking my coursework from
home also enabled me to get rid of any faults in my coursework.
Memory stick
My memory stick was used to transfer my schoo
work to my home laptop to enable me to
complete coursework at home.
Camera
My camera was used to take pictures for my FC, CP and
DPS. It was also used for taking picture o my location
recess and for my constant reference .My camera was
even used for parts of my final evaluation.
Blogger
For my project I used blogger to present my
work in a professional way. I uploaded all my
work in an specific order to make sure it flowed
in chronological order.
Slide Share
Slide share was a new website which enabled me to upload and
present my PowerPoint onto my blog by uploading it to my
account of slide share and then copying the URL onto my blog.
This was a very important website for me as it enabled me to not
print screen each individual PowerPoint slide and instead upload
the whole PowerPoint.
InDesign
InDesign was a program that I had had a small
amount of experience with previously
however I did have to re learn many of the
skills to use on creating my mock up and final
FC,CP and DPS.
Word
Word is a simple text writing
program which I used to write
my feedbacks, evaluations and
other documentation which
needed simple text.
Power Point
PowerPoint is a presentation software
which I can present a range of documents
and information .This was used to present
my front cover, content page and double
page spread analysis, due to this easy
movement and editing of the text boxes
and pictures
Conclusion
Overall I have developed my skills of technology
buy learning how to use new programs and
using ones I had previous experience with. The
coursework has enabled me to use my
knowledge of technology and apply it to a
realistic situation ( Magazine).
