1. What have you learnt about technologies from
the process of constructing the product?

3. Slideshare
• Slideshare is a website used to create slideshows
and presentation just like PowerPoint. Initially I
did not know about Slideshare but since I have
been introduced to it I've found it really helpful
when constructing some of my research task,
my planning for my opening sequence and my
evaluation. The only problem I had with
Slideshare is that in some presentations I could
not upload some pictures because it did not
have the required format which Slideshare
requires.

4. Windows Movie Maker
• Windows movie maker is one of the software I
used to edit some of the research and planning
tasks. Before we started the coursework I did
know about windows movie maker as I had it
both on my computer and laptop at home and
decided to use it to edit my videos. One thing I
really liked about windows movie maker is how
quick and easy you can edit on it. Compared to
Adobe Premier Pro editing on that software
was more complex.

5. Adobe Premier Pro
• Adobe Premiere Pro is another editing software
which I used to edit the preliminary task and
the actual opening sequence. Initially I did not
know about Adobe Premiere Pro but when I
was introduced to it I initially found it difficult
to use. I use this software to cut scenes, add
titles and credits. In my opinion although I
initially found this editing software difficult to
use I believe it’s the better one out of the two I
used

6. Flix press
• Flix press is a website used create
openings to a video/film. I initially did
not know about it but found it from
YouTube. After discovering it I had a
trouble actually creating and opening
introduction as I could not preview
what I had done so I did it in college
the next day and it worked. The site
was easy to use and easy to create
introductions to use in videos. The
video I created was the introduction in
my opening sequence.

7. Blogger
• Blogger was the site which I posted everything
relevant to my coursework. My blogger website
is http://glodymediawork.blogspot.co.uk/ and
this is where I daily update my work. I did not
know about this website but after it being
introduced to it and initially having troubles
knowing how to use it I think it’s a brilliant
website which has helped me publish my
coursework. The only criticism I have with the
website it maybe a little bit complex in setting
up the blogger account and blogs.

8. Survey Monkey
• Survey Monkey was the website I used to
complete the audience research tasks. I initially
did not know about this website but one
member in my group told me about it and set
up a online survey, which he and another
posted onto their Facebook so we can find out
who would be interested in our media product.

9. YouTube
• YouTube was the website I used to upload the
preliminary task, some of the research tasks
and the opening sequence. Prior to starting our
coursework I already knew about YouTube and
had uploaded onto the website before so I had
experience in using the site and had no
problems while using it. The only problem I
had was finding the exact format allowed to
upload videos. After I completed the
preliminary tasks it took us two days to actually
upload because of converting the format and
finding the right one which we can upload.

10. Prezi
• Prezi was the site that I used to present
some of the researching and planning
tasks and some of the evaluating task. I
initially did not know about Prezi prior to
beginning our coursework and when I was
told about it I found it really difficult to
actually use it. The main criticism I had
with Prezi is that it is too complicated to
use and there is not much details on the
page and lastly constructing the
presentation with a blank template
manually (e.g. have to create a circle or
square to write in) was too complex.

11. What I have learnt?
• I believe I've learnt about different
technologies and gained a lot of skills
through the creation of my coursework.
Using different editing software has enable
me to chose which one I feel comfortable
with and which one I can edit better with.
I’ve developed a better understanding of
how to use present information using
different software's. I also believed I’ve
improved my teamwork and
communication skills as we intergreted our
ideas to create a good media product
