PROFILE
I have over 35 year’s experience working in the
marine industry and over the past ten years in a
supervisory role.
I have extensive experience working with REFMAN
dry-docking and defect reporting software, SAP
procurement systems and AMOS and TM master
planned maintenance operating systems.
I have also been actively involved with DP operating
systems, including Kongsberg K.POS and DPS 21. This
involved the implementation of DP and FMEA trials as
and when required.

operational activities of 5 vessels within the Gulfmark
fleet. The vessels I was involved with were Anchor
handling vessels, PSV,s, ROV Support and drilling
vessels for offshore geotechnical work
 Liaising with vessels, on a daily basis to ensure
their activities are being co-ordinated effectively
and provide advice and guidance to the Master
and Engineers on board

 During vessel visits carry out inspections of
standards, supervise repairs and advise
contractors and ships staff during maintenance.
Ensure vessels operational status is fully
maintained and meets the standards of class and
flag state authorities
 Prepare dry docking specifications, liaise with dry
docking manager to elicit and evaluate
quotations from shipyards. Ensure that the
docking is carried out correctly, to comply with
budget requirements, time limits, and have been
completed to class, statutory and company
requirements
 Carry out vessel inspections and audits
 Provide reports and budgets to monitor costs for
repair, maintenance and any future projects.
