offshore experience in the marine fields and shipping industry. Creative and tenacious problem

profession. This experience includes operating as chief engineer onboard various types of ships

Oil&Gas operators in UAE (Adma, Zadco, TOTAL ABK..etc.).
 Expert-level knowledge utilizing wiring schematics, flow charts, and state-of-the-art
testing and diagnostic tools to maintain key mechanical systems at maximum
operability.
 Adopt deliveries of individual and group training; develop and modify SOPs, conduct
hands-on training in mechanical repair, equipment operations, and component
replacement procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:
 Acting as Company Representative MR in Instigated Management System for ISO 9001,
ISO 14001 & OHSAS 14001
 Marine vessels and barges inspection as per international standards and major Oil&
Gas client requirements.
 Do pre- Vetting ADNOC inspection for all types of vessels.
 Perpetration of vessel to meet different contracts’ requirements
 Management of marine contracts and monitoring vessels performance.
 Problems solving and ensure work integration between marine and technical
departments.
 Liaise with the different clients for smooth marine operations and contracts.
 Establish, manage, review and audit the implementation of the planned maintenance
system for the owned and Chartered marine Vessels.
 Evaluation of the performance of the marine and technical crew onboard the fleet
 Supervise the trouble shooting and repairs of equipment onboard the fleet units.
February 2009 till July 2013:
Technical Services Manager and Port Engineer (Mutawa Marine Works LLC.,UAE)
Duties and Responsibilities:
 Manage the marine operations, performance and maintenance of all marine vessels
including 4 diving support vessels, 8 supply boats, 2 fast crew boats and 1 jack-up barge.
 Work closely with the Marine operations manager and advise Masters and crew in
expediting marine activities on board our fleet
 Carry out periodic internal audits conforming to ISM /ISPS/ISO 9001 /ISO 14001
standards on board Company's Fleet of vessels.
 Keep vessels aware of safety, security and environmental regulations changes as issued
by international regulatory bodies
 Ensure that the company's QMS procedures are maintained and developed
 Perform internal safety and security audits including report preparation on board and in
the office.
 Coordination of external audits and vetting.
 Follow up on non-conformities and corrective actions
 Participate in Investigations/ Root Cause Analysis of accidents/ Incidents and prepare
accident/incident statistics
 Coordinate responses to Shipboard Safety Committee minutes
 Manage Dry-Docking of the vessels including preparation of Dry Docking Scope, order
and source out required spares and materials, supervision of all related jobs and contact
requirements and review and approve the invoices against quotations
 Manage the New build Vessels' including the following:
 Preparation of the contracts, specifications and equipment lists.
 Review of the QA&QC plan and supervise implementation through the overall
project.
 Mange the billing through various stages to ensure compliance with the contract
requirements.
 Attend various inspections from class and QC and review NDT inspections
 Supervise Equipment installation to the required maker recommendations and
Attend commissioning of Main equipment and ensure optimum performance
 Review Certificates and other test records
 Attend sea trails and approve the vessel for delivery.
 Monitor the performance of all Company marine and technical Staff and to ensure
they perform according to Company Policy.
 Follow up all technical and operational aspects of ships management.
 Arrange for the procurement of spare parts / equipment required for the vessels.
 Monitor and audit stock level of spare parts onboard ships and in workshop and
according to ship’s inventory.
 Organise head office and ships filing system (Technical) and maintain records of all
vessels including instruction books / manuals.
 Ensure the implementation of all company programs / policies with respect to, watch
keeping, recording machinery performances, completion of log books and maintaining
the vessel in good working order.
 Establish and maintain proper records for supplies of machinery and equipment,
develop a directory of local and international manufacturers of equipment installed
on the company’s vessels.
 Introduce procedures / instruction to enhance capabilities / familiarisation of the
existing technical staff with the equipment / systems of vessels.
 Develop / implement Planned Maintenance System for all ship’s machinery and
systems. Maintains lists of all vessels’ instruction books and manuals.

Qualified Marine Surveyor at Bureau Veritas (BV)
Duties and Responsibilities:
 Periodic survey for vessels, marine structures, and manufacturers to perform required
interventions to measure conformity of the vessels against IMO and Class requirements
 Prepare technically accurate and timely survey reports, and follow up the close out
action of any non-conformity, provide technical support via all forms of communication
 Work closely with clients to identify and resolve problems in area of technical expertise.
 Maintain the inspection records in order and up-to-date manner
 Issue, review, validate and approve red Certificates and Attestations as per Class rules

Duties and Responsibilities:
 Maintenance & overhauling and repairing of all company’s fleet of vessels and marine &
diving related equipment.
 Implement the ISO system on all workshop activities.
 Quote for any repair or fabrication of any job for workshop clients.
 Planning for training and certification of all technicians and supervises.
 Update all files and records of the workshop activities.
 Supervise the certification of al company’s loose lifting gears, Cranes and machineries
 Quote and Execute for Mutawa group projects
December 2003 till January 2006:
Marine Chief Engineer (Mutawa Marine Works Est.,UAE)
Working on all of Mutawa fleet including Off Shore Supply & Utility vessels, Diving support
vessels and Jack-up rig and maintenance platform. Duties and Responsibilities included:
 Deliver world-class operational and technical support for vital machinery, power plants,
and generators for broad range of maritime vessels.
 Test, troubleshot, and resolve complex electrical and mechanical issues, ensuring full
operability and reliability of critical systems; conduct formal and informal training, and
maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance activity.
 Closely monitor auxiliary machine functions and conduct detailed inspections to ensure
operational compliance with exacting environmental protection, safety, and hygiene
regulations.
 Analyze data in order to determine feasibility of product proposals.
 Confer with research personnel in order to clarify or resolve problems, and to develop
or modify designs.
 Investigate and observe tests on machinery and equipment for compliance with
standards.
 Conduct environmental, operational and performance tests on marine machinery and
equipment.
 Determine conditions under which tests are to be conducted, as well as sequences and
phases of test operations.
 Check, test, and maintain automatic controls and alarm systems.
 Maintain records of engineering department activities, including expense records and
details of equipment maintenance and repairs.
 Perform monitoring activities in order to ensure that ships comply with international
regulations and standards for life saving equipment and pollution preventatives.
 Prepare plans, estimates, design and construction schedules, and contract
specifications, including any special provisions.
 Schedule machine overhauls and the servicing of electrical, heating, ventilation,
refrigeration, water, and sewage systems.
 Supervise other engineers and crew and train them for routine and emergency duties.
