work experience I was able to earn my Masters License.

I successfully completed one year of a four-year degree course. I have the option to return to college at
a later date but due to my marine career ambitions I postponed this to enter the Maritime Academy.

1. MARINE OPERATIONS
1.1 To undertake projects, both in “hands on” AHTS Master, Barge Master or Superintendent in control
of the unit move as representative of interested Underwriters, Oil Companies or Drilling
Contractor. Train and approve New captains and Mates in Anchor handling and vessel maneuvers.
1.2 To prepare MODU Location Approvals as required by Contractors, Oil Companies and Guidelines by
collating data provided by others of location, environmental criteria and drilling unit.

complete reports as appropriate.

Asia,Thailand:
Barge Engineer / Surveyor/ Rig Mover/Tow Master/ OCIMF Inspector I am a qualified and experienced
professional, having the appropriate related skills and am appointed to fulfill the role of an approved
Seadrill Barge Engineer and Rig Mover for the Asia Division.
In the case of any marine operation such as rig moving or anchor handling Etc; I assume the role of the
marine authority on any MODU owned or managed by Seadrill.
I conduct, approve, and oversee the mooring analysis, ballasting, load out, modifications, and integrity
of procedures for Seadrill’s Ships, Jack Ups, Semi Submersible, Semi Tenders, and Tenders. My duties
also consist of doing all Flag and Class State pre inspections to ensure that all marine assets full fill
Seadrill’s standards and that they are in compliance and with and above the corresponding
Society, Client, and Industry Standards.
As such a representative I am charged with the responsibility for overseeing marine operations in
addition to monitoring and recording the performance of the contractor’s work being carried out on
site. As Barge Engineer/ Rig Mover I ensure that all marine activities are carried out in accordance with

While at Global Industries I held various positions and carried out a wide variety of tasks as Barge
Foreman,Captain, Internal Marine Inspector, Marine Advisor, and Anchor Foreman on Global’s Anchor
Handling vessels, Pipe Laying barges, Dive support vessels, Survey vessel in West Africa and Anchor
Foreman on their Pipe laying and Construction Vessels and Barges. I carried out Pre hire inspections
of vessels; I am also the SSO and am very familiar with Ship Board Planning and procedure writing,
safety procedures and ISPS procedures and Regs. I am very familiar with barge setup and procedures
and interacting and planning with clients and co contractors. I

(TDW), West Africa: Captain
While with TDW I worked as captain onboard an array ofvessels ranges from anchor handling tug supply
(AHTS), four-point mooring vessels (DSV), Z-Drive, and Tugs. While on these vessels I carried out a wide
variety of jobs such as running anchors , barge towing and mooring, four-point mooring on a dive vessel,
rig moves (Jack Ups and Semi Submersibles), hot oiling for Halliburton, tanker tending and lifting,
supplying, and surveying.
7. May1998-March 2002- International Marine Inc. (IMI)-
Talara, Peru: Mate/Interpreter
I worked on the marine-seismic survey vessel, M/V Gulf Supplier, offshore South and Central America.
As the sole fluent Spanish/English speaker onboard, I was required to assist in everyday communications
between American seismic personnel and Peruvian boat personnel. This role has also required me to
interpret on behalf of visiting Government officials, Immigration officials and Safety Officers, especially
when the vessel has been working outside of Peruvian waters (such as Panama and Costa Rica
Cameroon, and Gabon). During my work in this role, I have gained a good understanding of the seismic
acquisition and navigation tools used, in particular the MSX Recording System, GCS90 Gun Controller
System and Concept Systems Spectra software (as used on bridge).
