Duty & Responsibility
• Understanding each project’s specification and the respective NDT
procedure.
• Each time an NDT equipment is used – to verifying that the NDT
equipment, are in calibrated condition and maintaining records of those
calibration.
• On a daily basis, physically performing non-destructive testing of weld,
plate and materials, to determine whether they meet established quality
standards.
• Ensuring non-destructive testing records are maintained for each
project.
• Assisting the yard NDT Co-coordinators in resolving any disputes
relating to non-destructive testing which may arise between PT.MI and
The Customer.
• Promptly and timely preparation and reporting of the NDT results to all
concerned or interested parties or personnel.
• Daily monitoring of NDT results and review of the result along with
customers and 3rd
party inspectors and customer representatives.
