EXPERIENCE OVERVIEW
 Currently working in Iraq for UNAOIL as a Mechanical/NDT QAQC Supervisor & Mechanical Superintendent,
for the installation of Gas Compressor units. Also heavily involved in the day to day responsibilities of the HSE team,
by supervising the safe working practices of the Mechanical technicians on site. Also responsible for monitoring gas
and H2S readings from known problem areas on site. The job role also included other project related issues such as,
logistics, warehouse management and site management.
 Offshore Rope Access NDT Tech/Rigger with experience of working across the North Sea, on mainly Talisman,
Apache, BG and Chevron platforms, carrying out extensive rigging jobs in the form of centralizing risers at sea level
and conducting the removal/installation of new Smart Shims, through injecting resins into shim bags.
 Member of a Crane Inspection Team of made up of 4 Technicians, on Apache and Talisman platforms, inspect-
ing the condition of 100% of the welds on the A-frame's and king posts, by means of visual inspections, MPI and
EDDY current.
 Part of a 2 man team for bolt change-outs on the booms of cranes, utilizing the hydraulic bolt tension-
ing/torqueing process.
 Worked on Dive Vessels overseeing and carrying out the top-side duties of the sub-sea Smart Shin operations,
visually inspecting the condition of the risers that the divers had prepared prior to installing the new shims, through
a live video feed in the dive support rooms.
 Obtained Rope Access experience on the mainland up to heights of 150 meters, carrying out maintenance and
inspection jobs on high rise buildings (900 hours).
 3 months working at Apache SAGE Gas Terminal in the North of Scotland, as a Rope Access Mechanical Techni-
cian, inspecting the condition of GOSY valves and changing out over 500 valves, and snoop inspecting them after-
wards. Whilst at SAGE completed blank/gasket changing and other tasks in the isolation and maintenance of
Production trains. Firefighting skills and confined space skills were acquired throughout the time spent working in
the Oil and Gas industry.

 Worked as part of a 10 person management team as the Mechanical QAQC and Mechanical Superintendent on
site in Iraq overseeing the installation of 2 new Gas Compressor Units for the South Oil Company (SOC).
 Working with the HSE department both on site and for safety related matters, mainly orientated around general
site safety, security and managing a gas/H2S leak problem on site.
 Management of the site warehouse and logistical needs related to the project.
Rope Access NDT/Rigger/Mechtech with CAN Offshore. North Sea July 2014 – April 2015
 3 months working at Apache SAGE gas terminal covering mechanical scopes of work - mainly in the form of GOSY
valve change-outs/Inspections, duct installation and general mechanical duties.
 Worked on North Sea platforms covering NDT scopes of work, mostly crane inspection (a-frame and boom
inspection) and other weld and thickness inspections.
