The importance of understanding physic enviroment at Faculty of Mathematic and Natural
Sciences in The State University of Surabaya:

2. to know what a Like and Dislike study in Faculty of Mathematic and Natural
Sciences in The State University of Surabaya
These two aspects will help us to make better a knowledge about Faculty of Mathematic and
Natural Sciences in The State University of Surabaya
Physics at Faculty Mathematic and Nature Science
(UNESA)
The State Univesity of Surabaya (UNESA) is one of state universities in Surabaya
which aims to produce a professional teacher. One of faculty in State University of Surabaya
is Faculty of Mathematic and Natural Sciences. In that faculty there are many kind of
program study expecially mathematic, biology, chemistry, sains,and physic.
For now ,we will focus to program study of physic because it is an our program study.
Physic is a program study in C3 building ,third floor at State Univesity of Surabaya. There
are many laboratory can used by university student for do experiment . Although the build
was very old but still can use for studying or teaching.The facility are library , computer
serve , free wi-fi and laboratory in there.The laboratory make easy university students to
apply knowledge.However, care of laboratory in physic still enough improvement. Many tool
have broken and can’t use anymore ,it is very disappoint especially to university students
who not take education lane ,that is pure physic , because they only focus in experiment and
practice, exactly that will difficult for them. But if we look from positive side, we know it is

3. good or not place for study the important thing is a passion to try , so everything will be okay
and we can find the way . Then ,we must know about the building quality for now . if we
equal our quality building with faculty of economy that is too different , right?.In my friend
opinion, “dewi” when she enter a building of economy faculty. She look a different with in
two of them . The building is very clean , good looking , the facility of LCD and AC
complete , actually, student have a same payment , but why we get so different. How that
thing can happened while many problem frighten physic building. Latest news this time is a
matter of building a fire that swept sekretariatan Faculty The State Univesity of Surabaya on
Saturday the 3rd of December 2011 at 2 am. Fire destroyed most of the building The State
Univesity of Surabaya Faculty quickly. The fire caused by an electrical current surge
allegedly. Twelve fire engines arrived and attempted to extinguish the fire location.But in
nearly all parts of the charred building, including university students and faculty records has
been burned.
That is why the system of teaching in Physics The State University of Surabaya also
disrupted. Many of the students who protested against the teaching system at The State
University of Surabaya Physics. For example, KRS ( Card Study Plan ) handling process ,
because of the burning building and a central admin building, where many important files in
it including handbooks for the student of the year 2011. As a result, many students (especially
the army in 2011) who take care of KRS confusion, many schedules that clash with each
other and their respective ideologies are less and less he said the DPA (Academic supervisor )
in providing guidance for its students. As a result experienced by the university students is a
student receives a course that should not be taken by a student of the year 2011. And students
must be paced to take care of KRS and waste time in vain. That grief is experienced student
of the year 2011. The second example is the forms of student protest in facilities and
infrastructure in The State Univesity of Surabaya for example many of the tools are
inadequate in the lab, air conditioning and LCD are dead that can not be in use.but the profit
of learning in The State Univesity of Surabaya also got a new friend who is a variety of
different characteristics so that students can learn the characteristics of the variety as well. In
addition, the department of physics have started to listen to the aspirations of students, as well
as facilities begin to be addressed and corrected, hopefully for the better future The State
Univesity of Surabaya with good stewardship and professional
