1. Promotion Campaign research for Louisa Johnson's music video for bad behavior
These images have all been taken from louisa's social media pages, she posted many
different images and short video teases of what’s to come when she realises the video itself.
Some of these were from during the set of making the video with behind the scenes clips
and some are actual images and snippets from the video itself. By putting these out there for
people to see it allows the audience to get more excited and have an idea of what's to come.
It entices people to want to see more, so it is important that when choosing the clips and
images to ensure that they are exciting and interesting enough for people to want to see
more.
The screenshots i've taken are from both twitter and instagram, these are the two of the
main social media platforms out there now which is why many artists use it to promote their
music. This is also helpful as anyone who’s interested in the artist and fans etc will see this
on their timeline without having to search for it themselves. This helps the artists especially
on twitter as it has a feature that allows you to retweet a post meaning all of their followers
2. can also see the tweet. She also used hashtags so that when you clicked into this it took you
to any post that had also used the same hashtag and on platforms like twitter you can get
certain hashtags on the trending page if there are enough people tweeting about it. This will
again attract more people to the product as they might be intrigued to what the hashtag
means and want to know more about it.
When she finally released the video she advertised this the same way and linked the places
where is was available to download. This also appeared on some people's timelines as an
advertisement and came up even if you didn’t follow her as this was something that had
been set up for a more diverse and varied amount of to see. The advertisement again took
you to the video itself on youtube, itunes spotify etc.
