I will use this social media platform for my magazine by creating a
verified account dedicated to my magazine including ātweetsā
regarding the event information and hints about who and what will be
included within the next issue of my magazine to enhance a buzz and
excitement about the issue.
Due to twitter being an extremely preferred and popular social
networking website (proved in my magazine survey), this will involve
my audience more due to tweeting their opinions direct to the
magazines ā@ā, also including ā#BillboardMagā so the magazine will
get more recognition.
By using twitter, this will allow the magazines account to even
favourite or retweet peopleās tweets which will cause excitement to
the reader, which also shows that we care about the reader and get
involved with them. Also, readers could further tweets suggestions of
what they want to see in the magazine which is a quick and easy way

Forming Facebook groups are another form of new media in which
the magazine will use. Where users can ālikeā the posts in which they
find interesting or appealing and comment to voice their opinions
and views. Posts that will be included will include videos of interviews
and pictures of people who feature in the magazine.
Using a Facebook page is a good way to store everything all onto one
place like a āprofileā, so everything that the magazines post will be on
the page which will be an easy way to access certain information.
4. INSTAGRAM
Instagram could be used to post images regarding the magazine.
This would include images of attended concerts, pictures of
competitions and people who are included within the magazine. This
will be a good opportunity for readers to like and comment on
pictures again, voicing their opinions.
This account will also act as a mood board to sum up what the
magazine is all about and identifying a persona regarding the
magazine and will give the readers a visual idea of what will be
included within the magazine such as people etc.
5. YOUTUBE
This will be used so the audience really view videos of what goes on
ābehind the scenesā which will form a further sense of involvement
and trust due to the audience knowing exactly how we produce the
magazineās content. Past interviews of indie pop celebs will also be
included on this account including studio tours and photoshoot time
lapsesā etc.
Audiences will be able to leave comments underneath the videos
forming their opinions and also like/dislike it so we know weather
this is what the reader want to see. The YouTube videos will give the
audience more background knowledge of not only the magazines
indie pop content but on the industry etc. This will also allow the
audience to send in questions for āQ & Aā videos which will further
involve the audience more. This will also allow the consumer to carry
on buying the magazine due to the sense of trust and knowledge.
