(as allies) in the life of this world and [will be so] in the life
to come; and in that [life to come] you shall have all that
your souls may desire, and in it you shall have all that you
ever prayed for, as a ready welcome from Him who is
much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace!”

“And who could be better of speech than he who calls [his
fellow-men] unto Allah, and does what is just and right, and
says, “Verily, I am of those who have surrendered
themselves to Allah”? But [since] good and evil cannot be
equal, repel thou [evil] with something that is better and lo!
he between whom and thyself was enmity [may then
become] as though he had [always] been close [unto thee], a
true friend! Yet [to achieve] this is not given to any but those
who are wont to be patient in adversity: it is not given to
any but those endowed with the greatest good fortune!”

“TRUTHFUL”
 Strive to be a person who is truthful, never to lie, and this
reflect a most basic but important attributes, towards developing
one’s credibility.

“TRUSTWORTHY”
 Strive to be a person who can be always depended upon, to be
trusted to fulfil whatever entrusted. This reflects the attribute of
honesty and justice, because the opposite is “khiyaanah” to
“betray a trust” is to dishonestly be usurping or misappropriating
a right (HUQUQ) of others.

“CONVEYING”
 To have the drive, passion, empathy and courage to deliver the
message, not just conveying good news and niceties, but to be as
steadfast and determined even if to convey the TRUTH which others
may dislike. Thus a Muslim must have good communicative skills,
committed to speak the Truth even in the presence of an unjust ruler.
 This relates to an indispensable virtue of SHAJA’AH (Courageous)

“ASTUTE, SAGACIOUS, DISCERNING, etc.”
 This quality must be reflected in us, as Islam values
knowledge, wisdom, learning, thoughts, reasoning etc. In fact the
first FARDH (Obligation for Muslim) is for every male and female,
to seek knowledge and learning, from the cradle to the grave.
 In fact Islam is sensible and meant for those who think, It is not
for the fools and the unreasonable.
