  • 4. Internal grooming - Attitude There are primarily three ‘E’ factors that determine our attitude – Environment, Experience and Education
  • 5. • Caring • Confident • Practice Acceptance • Practice Empathy • Make Others Feel Important • Let Others Shine • Use Touch • Be Patient •Humble •Be Positive • Be Genuine • Have High Expectations of Themselves & Others • Anticipate Positive Outcomes Internal grooming – Positive Attitude
  • 6. External grooming "A picture is worth a thousand words."
  • 7. THINGS TO DO!  Follow the DRESS CODE.  Don’t use too much make up and accessories  Wear the outfits that suitable with your body type and skin tone colors  Use the right colors  Sincere smile and confident Be comfortable of yourself !
  • 8.  Improve Self Image via interacting & communicating capabilities • Speak with confidence • Good communication techniques, structured and systematic • Demonstrate a positive attitude ; Use good manners • Using your smile, body language, gesture & eye contact • What to talk about/what not to talk about • Don't interrupt and don't argue • Take resumes and/or other pertinent information • Business card – when to ask for one/when to offer yours  Be clean and neat, including your fingernails, teeth, shoes, hair and face  Conservative two-piece business suit in a basic color  Empty pockets-no bulges or tinkling coins/keys, etc.  No gum, candy or cigarettes  Light briefcase or portfolio case  No visible body piercing (nose, eyebrow, tongue, etc.) - wear minimum jewelry and cologne  Arrive ten minutes early and arrive alone
