Klamath Exhibit Analysis
The talk on Friday was given by Brittani Orana who is a Hupa tribal member and the curator of the
exhibit. The exhibit is a tribute to the struggles that the tribes of the Klamath river have been thru and
also serves to show that their culture and practices still live on today. The exhibit included historical

Abstract
In order to visualize and conceptualize the affect of the contact angle on impact force, testing of four
different shapes and comparing the results was done. Conclusions were drawn on the affects of the
type of contact surface on the measured impact force. In analyzing these results, it was also be of
interest to calculate the theoretical force using a derivation of equations and comparing them to the
measured data. Doing so may allow for further understanding concerning the possible errors in
calculations or possible mis assumptions being made.

This experiment effectively showed that the resultant impact force acting on the different target shapes
changed depending on the shape, which is affected by the contact angle. Further analysis of the data

Everyone knows sleep is important. But what most people don t know is that if you do not have a
healthy sleep pattern, you do not get the proper benefits. Your sleep pattern is your daily rhythms of

jury of his or her peers, the process of juror selection is repeated every day in courtrooms around the
country. The process is not only vital to the American justice system as a whole; for the prospective
juror it is also a defining feature of their U.S. citizenship. Juror selection and the accompanying voir
dire, when examined for more than its procedural parts, reveals itself to be more complex than a set of
ordinary practices. The frameworks established by Emile Durkheim, Arnold Van Gennep, and Victor
Turner help to separate the ritual elements present in jury duty from aspects that are more
