14. Off campus Access Through RemoteXs Platform
Through RemoteXs is a cloud-based platform.
• Provides a single portal for accessing a variety of
e-content that has been subscribed to or generated
by the library.
Features
i. Enables access to library e-resources from a single
portal/Location
ii. Works on all devices including Desktop Computers,
Laptops, Ipads and Iphones /smatphones)
iii. Requires one to login to access all e-
resources provided by the University Library
15. Steps:
a) You are required to have an institutional email from your Faculty
b) A welcome mail with a link will be sent from the Egerton
University library to your official institutional email.
c) Click on the link provided to set the username and password.
Please note that your password must contain a letter,
number and symbol.
d) In case a user forgets the password, click Forget Password
and key in your email. A password reset link will be sent to your
email.
