The following are some of the Internet tools used by the million of the users.
Web is a multimedia portion of the Internet.
It is interconnections system of sites or server all over the world.
It contains several millions of pages of information.
Each page is called a web page.
The first page of website is called a Home page.
The Home page contains information about the site and links to other pages.

It is used for exchanging messages and data files.

FTP
Telnet
Electronic discussion groups that focus on specific topic
Forms, computer forums.
Mailing lists send messages on a particular subject.
Automatically messages reach the mailbox of that group.
FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol.
It is used for transferring files(software, games, Photos,
maps, music etc,) around the world.
Telnet is a protocol.
It allows the user to connect a remote computer.
It is used to communicate a microcomputer with mainframe.
