INFLIBNET was initiated in 1991 by the University Grants Commission of India and became an independent organization in 1996. It aims to promote scholarly communication, modernize libraries, and provide efficient services to users. INFLIBNET runs many services for higher education in India, including e-ShodhSindhu, UGC-INFONET Digital Library Consortium, NLIST Programme, an online library catalog, InfoPort subject gateway, an institutional repository using DSpace, the open access journal platform OJAS, and repositories for electronic theses and dissertation and PhD synopses. INFLIBNET also develops integrated library management software and databases, conducts training programs, and provides e-content in many subjects.
Delnet
The Delhi Library Network (DELNET) was established in 1988 with the objective of promoting resource sharing among libraries through compiling union catalogs of resources and collecting catalogs and databases. DELNET coordinates with other networks and libraries to exchange information, provides technical guidance and services to member libraries, and maintains a central online union catalog. Electronic resources have evolved to become one of the most important resources within the library’s collection. The growths of these resources and the players involved within this area have provided library users with another alternative to obtain information. When implemented correctly with library assistance (library trainings, reference consultations and so forth), library users can access these electronic resources anywhere in the world with relative ease as long as there is an internet connection. Geographic barriers are no longer an issue and information can be obtained in a just-in-time manner. This paper describes how KAUST library built its electronic resources and how they grew into what it is today. Issues such as manpower, expertise level, budget, ERM tools, library-vendor relations and library-user communication will also be elaborated in the paper. Despite its drawbacks, KAUST library has managed to overcome most of them and strived to improve certain areas of concern. The paper will also describe the library’s ERM future directions and strategic planning. KAUST University was opened in September 2009 and it started out with its first cohort of 800 graduate students (25% female) taught by 100 faculties. The main areas of study focus on science and engineering divisions consisting mainly of: Mathematics and Computer Science, Physical Sciences and Life Sciences. From a demographic snapshot taken in 2010, 36% of the student body came from Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, 34% from Asia, 21% from Americas, 5% from Europe and 4% from Africa (alZahrani, R. , Branin, J. and Yi , 2012). The university library, when first started, had about 10 staff. The library is known to have a “state-of-the-art learning and information resource center supporting graduate education and advanced scientific research” (KAUST, 2010). The library subscribed to major science databases, electronic journals and books. It also offers a myriad of services from document delivery requests, textbook services, reference assistance and library trainings and consultations just to name a few.

“My Library, the International Librarians Networking Program and Me”
Adrian Duncan participated in the International Librarians Networking Program where he was able to briefly network with other librarians and learn about their work, but felt the program could have been better with more communication. As a librarian at the University of the West Indies, Mona Library during the pandemic, he helped shift services online like curbside pickup and messaging to continue supporting students remotely. The interaction with other participants in the program allowed an understanding of how their libraries also adapted during this time.

The present study examines the existence of various e-resources and services are available at Periyar EVR Central Library in VIT University. The study also highlights different types of electronic resources used by students and faculty, the purposes and frequency of using electronic resources and the problems faced by the users while accessing and using the electronic resources in the library.

JSTOR Labs has tried to mitigate this problem through a new platform for creating, visualizing, and linking datasets within a hosted JupyterHub environment, which incorporates popular code packages for topic modeling, sentiment analysis, and more. The platform allows users to start text mining without the hassle of configuring an environment. It also provides an opportunity for common infrastructure for teaching text mining: the platform will feature a library of open education resources—Jupyter notebooks with accompanying lesson plans—which will make it easier to teach and learn text mining, without hiding complexity or nuance.

Adrian Duncan participated in the International Librarians Networking Program where he was able to briefly network with other librarians and learn about their work, but felt the program could have been better with more communication. As a librarian at the University of the West Indies, Mona Library during the pandemic, he helped shift services online like curbside pickup and messaging to continue supporting students remotely. The interaction with other participants in the program allowed an understanding of how their libraries also adapted during this time.

For this assessment students are required to assemble an e-portfolio of resources and reflection on contemporary Australian society. This portfolio will include four components:
1. Hyperlinks to 3 video clips (whether on YouTube or some other source) that are relevant to one of the four topics on contemporary Australia in this Unit.
2. A 600 word document in which you explain why you have selected each of the clips and their relevance to the topic.
3. Hyperlinks to 3 opinion articles from the Australian online media (including web posts on political blogs) which are relevant to one or more of the four topics on contemporary Australia in this Unit.
4. A 900 word paper in which you briefly outline the key argument of each article and your opinion of this argument. You should provide reasons for your opinion. In this paper you should make reference to the document ‘International Comparisons’ from Australian Social Trends 4102.0.

Features i. Enables access to library e-resources from a single portal/Location ii. Works on all devices including Desktop Computers, Laptops, Ipads and Iphones /smatphones) iii. Requires one to login to access all e- resources provided by the University Library
