Assessment and Feedback Workshops
• This will all be followed up with a global email
to all students (and possibly staff) with a link
to the Guide in Week 1 of Semester 2

workshops with students
• Presented to whole classes by the SU
• Continued interaction with students
regarding their assessment and
feedback
4. On students involved in its development:
• Greater understanding of the types of
assessment and feedback used
• Increased knowledge and confidence to
speak to course teams with regards to this
area (one Class Rep has noted an
improvement in the feedback to her class
this year as a result of her involvement with
this project)
5. On students who have received it:
• Increased knowledge of the forms of
feedback
• Increased expectations of what they
should be receiving
• Increased confidence to discuss their
feedback with their tutors
6. • Wider dissemination:
– how can we do this?
– how do we engage students in
discussions about feedback?
• Improving our understanding of the
impact of the guide for both learners
and educators:
– what could the indicators for this be, and
how are they measurable?
