Mixin Classes in Odoo 17 How to Extend Models Using Mixin Classes
6th question (techniques))
1. What have you learnt about
technologies from the process of
constructing this product?
2. Throughout making my product I have learnt many things within media, for
instance. My ability to use Photoshop in different ways has expanded
drastically. When I first started I barely knew how to do anything with
Photoshop. Here are a few examples of the techniques I learnt within the
course:
The magic wand tool, I used this a lot
during the making of my magazine
because it helped crop out pictures
and put them into my magazine, also
without having any of the background
in and just the main image of the
person so it looks very professional.
The smudge tool was also
something that I didn’t know
about, I used this in my product
to make the edges of some
pictures looks smoother, it got
rid of all the jagged edges.
3. I also learnt to make photo’s that
are quite dark, a lot brighter like
shown here. Using the tool shown
above this is what I done to a
photo that is dark so then you can
see it better.
4. These are two tools I also learnt
to use effectively within my
magazine because if you use them
both together with a good colour
scheme then it really makes
things stand out a lot, like this:
You can take it a step further This technique played a very
by choosing to add blending big role in the making of my
options onto the text to make magazine, and this is
it stand out even more. something I had no clue about
By using this you can make the at the start but learnt to use it
thing you just made before in a good way to make my
look something like this. magazine look good.
5. The clone stamp tool was something I also
learned to use, it was good to remove the
‘toshiba’ off the laptop on the picture of the
dj and to fill in missing gaps of colour where I
cut it out by mistake.
As you can see the toshiba is
on the laptop and in my actual
magazine it isn’t there, and
when the actual bit of him got
cut out there was a tiny bit of
red missing out of the
headphones so I filled it in
using the clone stamp tool.
6. Using Photoshop wasn’t the only thing that I learnt to use, using the camera well
to take good, sharp photos was a technique that I gained during the course. I
learnt to make sure you use the stand, that it is equally level and to ensure that
the flash is on if required so that the image isn’t too dark. Whilst taking the
photo’s I also figured that taking the images on a green screen, or a plain
background behind them was a lot easier when it came to cutting it out and
putting it onto my magazine because it had a lot less things that you had to get rid
of around the sides at the end. One thing that I also learned to do was, take more
than one photo. Ensure you take several so that you had a wide variation of
photo’s to choose from.
