  2. In this presentation we will look at influencer marketing, a suggested action plan, the cost and time it takes and techniques along with alternate mediums of running your campaign.
  3. Introduction to influencer marketing Influencer marketing is focused on targeting of specific individuals who have influence in a certain social sphere, and marketing your product to them. The main activity in influencer marketing campaign are identifying who are the right influencers, asking them to market your product, and designing a long term relationship in which both parties work together.
  4. How does it work ? The most important aspect in this type of marketing is to identify those people who do have influence over others. Online, social media networks are great places to find these people. Look for people with large friends lists. Bloggers can be a powerful channel and can get you visibility in front of hundreds or thousands of readers who can all become potential customers.
  5. Cost and time frame for results Influencer marketing costs are typically much lower than those of standard marketing campaigns because it is a much smaller group of people that are being targeted and the campaign is more intimate. Influencer marketing involves lists to be compiled, people to be contacted, so effect must be given time to work.
  6. Tactic for better results Video ads are terrific ways to directly reach the population of early adopters. You can create a campaign by asking customers to send in their video testimonials. Also, having an online, as well as offline presence will assure that all bases are covered.
  7. Alternate mediums Giving away prizes to your better customers and asking them to take part in shaping the direction of the company will assure that they remain loyal customers, and get rewarded for doing so.
